Event
AAUW Used Book Sale
Jul 23, 2011 -- Jul 31, 2011
Boscov's Court - July 23 through July 31 Voorhees Town Center is proud to sponsor this event through our "PREIT Cares" initiative and program. About the Used Book Sale
Regular Mall Operating Hours
The Camden County Branch AAUW Used Book Sale offers a variety of books that are priced to sell. Also, for our patrons’ convenience, books are sorted into more than 25 categories and are displayed on many tables with all titles available from the beginning of the sale. Cookbooks, children’s and collectors’ books are perennial best sellers. Throughout the year, books are donated by individuals and organizations from all around the Camden County region. Volunteers cull, sort, price and pack the books, and then transport the books to the Voorhees Town Center to set them up for the sale.
Where the Money Goes
Following the basic tenets of AAUW to advance education and self-development for women and to foster equity and positive societal change, proceeds from the sale are used to support the Association's grants, Camden County Branch grant programs, and local education projects.
