THIS SPRING, A FARMERS MARKET FEATURING JERSEY FRESH FRUITS, VEGETABLES, PASTA, HONEY, WINE & MORE WILL BLOSSOM AT VOORHEES TOWN CENTER, BRINGING IN-SEASON JERSEY FRESH LOCAL AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS TO AREA RESIDENTS EVERY SATURDAY FROM 8AM TO 12NOON!
Join us for the Grand Opening on Saturday, May 19 for free family farm fun, including a Petting Zoo, tractor rides, strolling musicians, arts and crafts, face-painting, a balloon artist, and giveaways, while supplies last beginning at 9am. Plus, spend $40 and receive a canvas grocery tote bag. The Farmers Market will be open every Saturday starting May 19 through October 27 from 8am to 12noon near the outdoor Special Events Plaza!

*Bellview Winery - Landisville, NJ
Nestled in the heart of South Jersey, Bellview Winery is the realized dream of owners Jim and Nancy Quarella. The winery is located on the same farm that Jim's great-grandfather, Angelo Quarella, purchased in 1914 after emigrating from Italy. Originally just the 20-acre plot on which the winery now sits, the farm has expanded to over 150 acres. In the spring of 2000, the first three acres of commercial Bellview grape were planted. *Chestnut Run Farm – Salem County, NJ
Chestnut Run Farm is a small family farm owned by Bob and Lise Clark, located in beautiful Salem County, New Jersey. All of the fruit used in their wines is grown on their preserved farm. They specialize in Asian pear wines and also have Fuji apple wines, many of which collect gold, silver and bronze medals regularly in international wine competitions. *Davidson's Exotic Mushrooms – Kennett Square, PA
Davidson's Exotic Mushrooms, run by the Langrehr family, is one of the local mushroom growers that makes Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, the "Mushroom Capital of the World.” Fresh mushrooms are harvested just before market, providing the freshest Shitake, Crimini, Portabella, Maitake and Oyster Mushrooms you can find.
*Duffield's Farm - Sewell, NJ
The Duffield family has been farming for over 80 years. It is owned and operated by Dave and Mary Duffield, their sons David and Dan, their daughter Debbie and daughters-in-law RuthAnn and Tracy. The farm has been in the Duffield family since the 1930's when Dave's father, Claude, purchased the original parcel of farmland. Through several expansions, Duffield's Farm has grown into the thriving South Jersey agricultural landmark it is today, raising over 50 varieties of vegetables and fruits, including peaches, strawberries, nectarines, sweet corn and tomatoes. The farm has a long history of engaging and entertaining the public with agriculture; many generations of locals can recall childhood memories of visits to Duffield's. *Fruitwood Orchards Honey Farm - Monroeville, NJ
In 1951, Gloria and Everett Wright planted 110 acres of apples, peaches, nectarines, pears, and cherries. Since then, their crops have expanded to include strawberries, melons, grapes and vegetables. The Wright family has been farming in the Delaware Valley since the 1800s; they first raised honey bees to help in the pollination of their fruit trees. Today, from Fruitwood's two locations in New Jersey and Florida, millions of honey bees in thousands of hives are transported to pollinate other farms' crops and produce honey across the country. Nearly 20 varieties of pure, raw, unfiltered honey are offered, including local varieties such as South Jersey Pine Barren and Blueberry Honey. *Talluto's - Washington Township, NJ
Talluto's is a Philadelphia pasta tradition with several locations throughout the region. Mike Scappa, the lively owner of the Talluto's Washington Township location, is bringing freshly cut Capellini, Spaghettini, Linguine, Fettuccine and other Italian prepared specialties to the Market. He makes the fresh mozzarella himself. He has "never sold at a Farmer's Market before" and looks forward to chatting up his Voorhees customers personally. *Muth Organic Farm & Muth Farm Flowers - Williamstown, NJ
Muth Farm grows summer and fall crops and will be attending the Market as soon as harvests allow. Bob Muth grew up on a farm, raising crops with his father while holding a second job. His own farm epiphany came while in graduate school. He says "I looked out the window and realized I'd rather be sitting on a tractor seat than working in a lab, and I've never been back." Muth Farm earned the 2007 Mid-Atlantic Master Farmer Award for their work in sustainable agriculture and organic farming. Their extensive crop list includes unique varieties of vegetables with names like "Joy Choy" bok choy, "8 Ball" squash and "Obsession" sweet corn. Sisters Mary Ellen Muth and Margaret Rose Muth Kirby grew up growing flowers at the Muth Family Farm. It blossomed into Muth Farm Flowers. They find new and unusual cut flowers to grow each year as well as classic favorites. Because their market base is local, they have the advantage of growing a large selection of blooms that are not seen in a typical store or florist shop. With less miles and time from garden to vase, they are picked at their peak, carefully conditioned without the use of chemical preservatives, and minimally handled. *Haynicz's Orchardview Farm Market and Greenhouse - Elk Township, NJ
The family farm and farm market, owned and operated by the Haynicz Family, has been in business since 1952. They have a diverse selection of fruits and vegetables that begin in spring with strawberries and asparagus and finish in fall with apples and squash. Kathy Haynicz looks forward to bringing her "Jersey Grown" plants. They carefully tend to hanging baskets, planters, annuals, perennials, and shrubs in their 4 on-site greenhouses. Expect to find vegetable seedlings, including tomato, pepper, and herb plants, which are always a big hit in the early weeks of the growing season! *Cherry Grove Farm - Lawrenceville, NJ
Cherry Grove Farm is a sustainable, diversified farm that strives to produce quality small batches of cheese while respecting the animals and the environment. The whey from the cheese facility sustains a population of Certified Berkshire Pigs. All Cherry Grove pork products have no nitrates or preservatives, even their smoked meats like bacon and ham. No hormones, antibiotics or steroids are used. Staff member, Stacey, will be cheerfully serving the Voorhees Town Center Farmers Market on Opening Day. *WoodsEdge Wools Farm - Stockton, NJ
WoodsEdge Wools Farm has one of the largest herds of suri llamas in the world; representing a wide diversity of genetic lines. They were also the first alpaca breeding farm in the state of New Jersey. Farm founder Linda Berry Walker is a fiber farmer. Today, they have over 300 llamas and alpacas as fiber-producing livestock offer a wide range of yarns and heirloom-quality products made from their luxurious wools. *The Sporting Club, Philadelphia's premier fitness center, is now open on Town Center Boulevard. The new, luxe fitness center features new equipment; group fitness classes such as Pilates, Zumba, Spinning, and Yoga; and personal training. Fitness club hours are 5am to 10pm Monday thru Thursday, 5am to 9pm on Friday, and 8am to 7pm on Saturday & Sunday.
